The Women in Wyoming multimedia exhibit is live!
The Women in Wyoming multimedia exhibit, "Portraits and Interviews of Women Who Shape the West," is live! We celebrated on the evening of Friday, October 25th with many of the women featured in the project in attendance, family, friends, sponsors and museum patrons.
The exhibit will remain on view at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West in Cody, Wyoming's only Smithsonian-accredited museum, until August 2, 2020.
The exhibit features large-scale portraits, an audio soundscape weaving together natural sounds captured on location and the subject's words of wisdom from the podcast interviews, as well as interactive storytelling components.
The exhibit completes three years of production, thousands of miles traveled, infinite wisdom and lessons learned, and a culminating vision for Project Director, Lindsay Linton Buk.
The exhibit will be on view until August 2, 2020. We can't wait for you to see it, and celebrate the beauty, integrity, and profound legacy of Wyoming women and girls with us!
