The Women in Wyoming multimedia exhibit is live!

Women in Wyoming director, creator, and photographer, Lindsay Linton Buk, welcomes the crowd at the official opening celebration on Friday, October 25th at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West in Cody, Wyoming.

The Women in Wyoming multimedia exhibit, "Portraits and Interviews of Women Who Shape the West," is live! We celebrated on the evening of Friday, October 25th with many of the women featured in the project in attendance, family, friends, sponsors and museum patrons.

The exhibit will remain on view at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West in Cody, Wyoming's only Smithsonian-accredited museum, until August 2, 2020.

Many of the women featured in the project were in attendance for the opening event on Friday, October 25, 2019 at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West in Cody, Wyoming. The exhibit features large-scale portraits, an audio soundscape weaving together natural sounds captured on location and the subject's words of wisdom from the podcast interviews, as well as interactive storytelling components.

The exhibit completes three years of production, thousands of miles traveled, infinite wisdom and lessons learned, and a culminating vision for Project Director, Lindsay Linton Buk.

The journey: over 15,000 miles traveled, 600 rolls of medium format film processed, 3,000 minutes of audio interview footage, and infinite wisdom and lessons learned,
