Lindsay Linton Buk - Project Director
Lindsay Linton Buk is an artist, photographer and fifth-generation Wyoming native who discovered photography while on hiatus from her dance training. In need of a creative outlet, she signed up for an Intro to Photography class and was hooked. During her studies at Northwest College, her work earned "Best Portrait" and "Best in Show" at the annual student showcases. Her last Wyoming project, "Been Here for Generations," portrayed generational farming families in her hometown of Powell, WY. She worked in NYC for famed photographer Rodney Smith and international educator/headshot photographer Peter Hurley, as well as taught for Canon before moving back to Wyoming to establish her commercial photography studio, Linton Productions in 2014.
Women in Wyoming emerged from a personal desire of Lindsay's to connect with and learn from women around the state who were tapping into their full capactiy to be limitless in the rural west.
