LINDSAY LINTON BUK

FOUNDER, PROJECT DIRECTOR + PHOTOGRAPHER

“Wyoming is the birthplace of authentic, brave and humble heroines. Lindsay Linton Buk archives Women in Wyoming stories through film and podcast interviews. Lindsay is creating a new monument for Wyoming— one that explores the other-worldly beauty and diversity of womankind.”

Lindsay Linton Buk is an artist, photographer and fifth-generation Wyoming native who discovered photography while on hiatus from her dance training. In need of a creative outlet, she signed up for an Intro to Photography class and was hooked. During her studies at Northwest College, her work earned "Best Portrait" and "Best in Show" at the annual student showcases. Her last Wyoming project, "Been Here for Generations," portrayed generational farming families in her hometown of Powell, WY. She worked in NYC for famed photographer Rodney Smith and international educator/headshot photographer Peter Hurley, as well as taught for Canon before moving back to Wyoming to establish her commercial photography studio, Linton Productions in 2014.
